Your role.
Our transaction advisory services (TAS) team provides focus during the fast-paced environment that is inherent with transactions. Performing a quality of earnings assessment is essential for understanding the stories behind the numbers, assessing the historical financial performance and condition, identifying key drivers of trends, and recognizing weaknesses and future opportunities. Your experience will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Support client engagement teams in executing Transaction Services, focusing on quality of earnings/financial due diligence.

  • Assist the engagement manager in analyzing financial data provided by the seller’s management team.

  •  Assist in due diligence projects, including summarizing key financial data and writing quality of earnings reports.

  • Communicate key findings to the project team and clients, and build relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.

  •  Effectively participate on teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, while staying abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. Use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services. 

The qualifications.

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, engineering, business, or a related field.

  • Academic success (a minimum major GPA of 3.25).

  • Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience related to mergers and/or acquisitions transactions preferred but not required.

  • Knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Visio, Access and MS Project).

This is a non-exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week. This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.
