Your role.

Your work will include:

  • Coordinate client collections activities, including notifying partners of delinquent status, collecting accounts by assessing complex situations to develop solutions and successfully obtain payment.
  • Maintain and monitor account payments along with documentation of all collections activity by leveraging available record keeping functionality in firm systems, workflows and forms in accordance with firm policy and procedure.
  • Prepare, interpret and deliver ad-hoc reports to key stakeholders and management related to a variety of collection situations.
  • Analyze major accounts and synthesize findings regarding financial activity to explain and interpret accounting/financial information presented.
  • This opportunity comes from our integration with EKS&H effective as of October 1, 2018.

The qualifications.

  • Requires 3+ years of collections experience. Experience with Accounts Receivable will be beneficial.
  • Associate’s degree strongly preferred; will consider commensurate experience.
  • Experience working within a professional services firm collection department is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to Promissory Note coordination, payment planning, and bankruptcy and litigation activities is desired.
  • Ability to coordinate information flow with multiple sources (Management, Partnership, team, staff, etc.) and effectively influence and implement collections strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with firm leadership and partners, as well as maintain high levels of customer service to our clients.
