 Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:  

  • Effectively communicate the unique benefits of the firm's significant wealth management practice to clients, target, prospects and staff
  • Lead and develop a team to improve their marketing skills concerning wealth management and help them to advance in their careers
  • Identify relevant thought leadership topics and publish content that resonates with our audience and attracts qualified leads to the practice
  • Execute events to position us to better win new clients and more work from existing clients
  • Leverage the relationships of audit, tax and consulting staff for new wealth management clients
  • Responsible for developing and executing Wealth Management’s strategic marketing plan, internal and external communications, and events
  • Manage a comprehensive media and public relations effort to maintain positive relationships with clients, prospects, referral sources, and key business communities
  • Collaborate with outside public relations agency to develop a program to syndicate our thought leadership
  • Manage the evolution and reinforcement of corporate brand standards, messaging, and positioning
  • Lead the ongoing management and development of the firm's website to leverage it as a means to connect with the firm's clients, prospects, referral sources, alumni, and other stakeholders
  • Research and execute effective digital marketing techniques to improve lead generation effectiveness

The qualifications.

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or other related business field is required; Masters degree is highly preferred
  • Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in digital marketing,  marketing communications, advertising, and/or communications
  • Minimum 5 years supervising staff, while simultaneously managing multiple client relationships
  • Wealth Management and Professional Services experience highly desired
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; performs a variety of complicated tasks; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Ability to effectively:
    • Balance client's needs and prioritize tasks
    • Identify additional revenue opportunities
    • Build strong relationships within the firm and teams through quality work and leadership
  • Strong business development skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills; strong problem solving skills with ability to sell solutions to internal clients
  • Expert level skills with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, MS Office
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; demonstrate effective time management skills by completing assignments within calendar schedules
  • This role may require regional travel up to 10%
