Senior HRIS Analyst

Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Oversees the data entry of all HRIS transactions within Onboarding and HRIS (Lawson) solutions.
  • Provides system administration to the Applicant Tracking and Onboarding solutions
    • Manages relationship with selected vendor
    • Configures system to current business processes
    • Creates documentation of all system configurations
    • Acts as the data expert for standardization and integration throughout the firm
    • Ability to analyze, recommend and develop reporting
    • Maintains system security access control by creating roles and granting permissions
  • Responsible for problem solving of various scopes where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors; exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action; may recommend changes to existing procedures and practices based on analysis of data.
  • Oversees and provides leadership for HR technology projects. Leads project teams for data integration, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Designs and prepares reports for employee data contained in the HRIS in response to requests from users within Human Resources and from users in other departments of the Firm. Ensures data integrity and follows quality control measures for data accuracy.
  • Resolves HRIS issues; acts as “troubleshooter” for HRIS. Works with IT, Payroll, vendors and others in setting up tables and defining data fields to insure proper reporting of data; Interact with IT staff in order to resolve HRIS issues as well as support HRMS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
  • Develops training and documentation of system use for HRIS users.
  • If requested, analyze HR processes and make recommendations for improvements via the use of technology; oversees the specifications, development and implementation of new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedures for HR module users to ensure efficient business processes.
 

The qualifications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Organizational Development or other related business field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of HR System Development and/or HRIS analyst experience. Must have thorough understanding of the Human Resource function.
  • Experience with a full range of HR processes and applications (Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Reporting) preferred
  • Professional Services experience is a plus.
  • This position may require some local travel.
