Your role on the tax administrative team is mainly responsible for supporting two tax partners and their teams in delivering high quality tax deliverables. You'll use tax technology and processing skills to ensure tax returns and other documents are logged on time and assembled both electronically and/or paper copy. You'll also track the status of submitted returns, scan, and electronically save applicable paper tax documents. You may also be asked to carry out other tax engagement-related support activities within the office.

Your role.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

·         Assist partner(s) and other team members with various day-to-day administrative duties including scheduling and maintaining calendars, expense reports, organizing/processing billing, opening and organizing mail, organizing office, scheduling prospect calls, travel arrangements various other reservations (lunch, dinner, etc.)

·         Assist with various tax processing tasks such as: scanning client documents, printing, assembling and organizing paper and electronic copies of returns and estimates, and other tax deliverables

·         May assist with efiling returns and reviewing for acceptance by governing agency - follow up with tax partner/staff as needed

·         Tracking client deliverables in due date system for completion

·         Responsible for learning and using technology and other applications, including certain tax software, MS Office, data bases, proprietary applications, and others (training will be provided as needed)

·         Assist with production and editing of other complex client or Firm deliverables, such as proposals, presentations, spreadsheets, work plans and reports - copy, bind and distribute as appropriate

·         Schedule and organize various meetings, including reserving of conference rooms (coffee, water, meals, etc.), needed equipment and/or setting up conference calls - distribute agendas, project lists, minutes and reports in preparation of meetings, when required

·         Review work for quality and accuracy

·         Assist with internal/external event coordination including mixers, staff and client functions, community events

The qualifications.

·         HS Diploma or GED equivalent required. Higher level of education/college coursework preferred

·         Client service (both internal and external) is a high priority

·         Proven administrative, organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail and accuracy

·         Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced atmosphere; perform well under uncertain or unstructured conditions (pressure); self-driven within a deadline-oriented environment

·         2-5 years of experience working in an administrative or executive administrative role – with tax services firm preferred

·         Solid technical proficiency including knowledge of MS Office applications (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

·         Qualified individuals must reside in or near the Toledo, OH area or be willing to relocate to the area for this opportunity - this position may require some local and inter-state travel for training and firm events
